Quick-detachable design (QDC) on the inset – a ready-made and modern solution for the protection of pipeline networks from external influences. QDC is a prefabricated structure made of a heat-insulating layer with a protective coating of sheet steel. Special stiffeners, longitudinal and end overlays, technological locks prevent moisture from entering the casing, and bandages with buckles or locks reliably ensure the integrity of the structure from external influences.

The quick-detachable design on the inset serves as protection for the diverting sections of pipelines, which are made with a diameter of 60 to 1000 mm. Type of metal made of galvanized steel, stainless steel and aluminum sheets up to 0.50-1.0 mm thick. Special stiffeners, longitudinal and end overlays, technological locks prevent moisture from entering the casing.
They are performed as standard on 900, 600, 450 (other options are possible).

QDC-Quick-detachable construction consists of a thermal insulation layer made of basalt rock mineral wool and a protective shell made of sheet metal. It is designed to protect and insulate pipelines, pipeline fittings, pipeline fittings, tanks, separators and other technological equipment that require periodic access, including pipeline welds, maintenance of flanged connections, pipeline fittings and for periodic monitoring of technological equipment.

QDC is a metal product with a thermal insulation layer that is completely ready for installation. According to the technical specification of the customer, thermal insulation can be made from several layers (of different stiffness, different thickness, etc.), with the use of vapor barrier materials (aluminum foil 40mkm), the outer protective layer of sheet metal is made with the necessary zigs and special cap locks and hinges, for a rigid and reliable fixation. Each order is processed and calculated individually according to the project or the customer’s technical specifications.

Exterior coating:

● Galvanized steel (Zn): LKPOC galvanized steel with a thickness of 0.45 to 1.00 mm is designed for use outdoors and in rooms that directly interact with the environment;
● Aluminum (Al): AD1H aluminum with a thickness of 0.80 mm has a low density, so it is easy and convenient to install. An irreplaceable property of aluminum is its ductility, which makes aluminum the main material for insulation of pipeline systems;
● Stainless steel (St): AISI 304 stainless steel with a thickness of 0.50 mm has excellent corrosion resistance in many environments and in contact with various aggressive influences.
● It is possible to paint in different colors at the request of the customer.

Bracing:

● Locks made of galvanized steel (Zn).
They are used for quick installation without the use of additional tools.
● Quick-release clamps consist of a lock and a galvanized steel strip.
● Self-tapping screws or rivets.

Quick-detachable structures QDC is characterized by efficient performance, withstands high operating temperatures, effectively retains heat, is strong and durable. Easy to cut and other processing, easy to install.

Mineral wool thermal insulation of QDC is not affected by chemical elements (alkalis, acids), as well as ultra-violet and electro-magnetic radiation, is easy to install and very technologically advanced in processing (easily cut even with household tools), is durable and retains its working properties throughout the entire service life.

The anti-vandal shell of the QDC made of thin-sheet steel is resistant to mechanical loads, anti-corrosion, low thermal conductivity, moisture resistance, non-combustibility.
Due to the fact that the galvanized housing of the QDC consists of several segments and has snap-on grooves, it is easy to install in the shortest possible time. In addition, this collapsible design provides free access to the pipeline and allows for quick repair work. Installation does not require special skills, since basalt insulation is easily cut into the desired segments. Galvanized steel has remarkable performance characteristics – it is resistant to mechanical loads, is not subject to corrosion, allows you to quickly get free access to the pipe, carry out work related to the operation of the pipeline.

Installation of the QDC does not require the use of special devices and is carried out by attaching the finished structure to the pipeline with subsequent fixation with the help of bandage tapes and buckles.

The quick-detachable design of the QDC is used for effective protection of pipelines of different types:

The prefabricated structure is secured with metal bands with a buckle or lock, which reliably ensure a tight fit of the outer protective shell with a thermal insulation layer to the pipeline, and also ensure the integrity of the structure from external influences for a long time of operation.

In order to prevent the ingress of atmospheric precipitation into the insulation, the application of steel protective coatings at the joints on horizontal and vertical pipelines, the direction of the zigs must be placed from top to bottom, and there are also allowances for closing in the amount of 3-10 cm.
