Quick-detachable design (QDC) for cylindrical tank tanks are one of the most complex designs for most industries. Thanks to precise computer calculation and manufacturing on modern CNC machines, this task becomes easy to solve and ensures high quality. ● Thermal insulation design of QDC for horizontal and vertical cylindrical tanks – a modern solution for protecting tanks and their components from external influences. It is a protective coating made of thin-sheet steel with a heat-insulating layer. Special stiffening ribs of the outer shell, longitudinal and end overlays, technological locks prevent moisture from entering the casing.

● The design for the cylindrical tank is delivered in a collapsible form, installation is carried out strictly according to the project drawings. The design can be equipped with appropriate additional products. For example: plugs, support rings, remote holders or pins for fixing thermal insulation.

QDC-Quick-detachable construction consists of a thermal insulation layer made of basalt rock mineral wool and a protective shell made of sheet metal. It is designed to protect and insulate pipelines, pipeline fittings, pipeline fittings, tanks, separators and other technological equipment that require periodic access, including pipeline welds, maintenance of flanged connections, pipeline fittings and for periodic monitoring of technological equipment.

QDC is a metal product with a thermal insulation layer that is completely ready for installation. According to the technical specification of the customer, thermal insulation can be made from several layers (of different stiffness, different thickness, etc.), with the use of vapor barrier materials (aluminum foil 40mkm), the outer protective layer of sheet metal is made with the necessary zigs and special cap locks and hinges, for a rigid and reliable fixation. Each order is processed and calculated individually according to the project or the customer’s technical specifications.

Exterior coating:

● Galvanized steel (Zn): LKPOC galvanized steel with a thickness of 0.45 to 1.00 mm is designed for use outdoors and in rooms that directly interact with the environment;
● Aluminum (Al): AD1H aluminum with a thickness of 0.80 mm has a low density, so it is easy and convenient to install. An irreplaceable property of aluminum is its ductility, which makes aluminum the main material for insulation of pipeline systems;
● Stainless steel (St): AISI 304 stainless steel with a thickness of 0.50 mm has excellent corrosion resistance in many environments and in contact with various aggressive influences.
● It is possible to paint in different colors at the request of the customer.

The anti-vandal shell of the QDC made of thin-sheet steel is resistant to mechanical loads, anti-corrosion, low thermal conductivity, moisture resistance, non-combustibility.

In addition, this collapsible design provides free access to the pipeline and allows for quick repair work. Installation of the QDC does not require the use of special devices and is carried out by attaching the finished structure to the pipeline with subsequent fixation with the help of bandage tapes and buckles.

In order to prevent the ingress of atmospheric precipitation into the insulation, the application of steel protective coatings at the joints on horizontal and vertical pipelines, the direction of the zigs must be placed from top to bottom, and there are also allowances for closing in the amount of 3-10 cm.
